SOLANA’S MEMES GEAR UP FOR A NEW RUN (P1)

Listen folks, it’s alt season out there.

And honestly? Most alts are just too damn big for me.

I don’t love sniffing around $100M+ market caps - they’re hard to 10x unless they’re one of those rare, perfectly engineered tokens (*cough* $USELESS *cough*).

But I get it. A lot of you want that big meme bag. And with another alt pump potentially on deck, it’s time to look at what could actually run.

If $SOL hits ATHs, its memes will fly.

If $ETH hits ATHs… well, who knows. ETH and Base still only have a handful of decent memes.

So let’s stick to what’s hot and what might get hotter.

$BONK – The actual king of Solana

Normally, I don’t write about memes this big.

But the energy around BONK and its ecosystem is hard to ignore.

It’s sitting at a $2.73B market cap. ATH was $3.72B (back in Nov 2024). That’s just a 37% gain to reclaim the top - not wild in this environment.

If Solana makes a full return to ATHs, it probably drags its biggest memecoin with it.

Why you could be bullish:

• BONK is the largest memecoin on Solana; bigger than Trump, Pengu, even Fartcoin

• Their new memecoin launchpad has already launched $USELESS ($300M cap)

• The launchpad ranks top 10 in 30-day revenue ($17.6M) - above Phantom, just behind Ethereum

• BONK even flipped PumpFun in daily revenue

Yes, LetsBonk is now outperforming the platform that created the launchpad meta.

How I’m playing it:

Big caps aren’t my thing, but if you believe in a sustained “up only” alt szn, BONK might be worth a bag - or a long on a clean pullback.

$GIGA – The chad wants a 5x

This meme is pure vibes.

It’s one of the few tokens with more verbal connotation than visual. Calling someone a “chad” is so iconic, and no one’s ever quite sure if it’s a compliment or not. That’s part of the fun.

Heck, they even got the actual meme model to endorse it.

It touched a $900M market cap during the pre-Trump pump back in January. Now? Needs a clean 4.5x to get back there. Not impossible.

It’s also one of the only memes not based on a cartoon or animal - a rarity in memecoin land.

Why you could be bullish:

• It hasn’t run yet this cycle (unlike many other Solana memes)

• Failed to clear $300M back in May, but if it does it could rocket to $400M–500M+

• Still holding decent volume and strong community

• Feels like a meme that could move fast once it gets attention

How I’m playing it:

Still small enough to be early. Watching for a clean breakout above the $300M zone as a trigger.

$MOG – The multichain bet

I was going to include $BRETT here… but let’s be real, Base memes are weak.

Then I saw this tweet, and I agreed with the thesis:

$MOG is a culture leader.

Built by prankster-dev Kmoney, it’s got its own custom emoji, real community, and serious volatility. Plus, it’s multichain, available on Mainnet, Solana, Base, and Binance. That’s rare in the meme game.

Why you could be bullish:

• Dev is a known influencer (Kmoney), which most memes don’t have

• Volume is returning + chart looks like a classic recovery pattern

• It’s one of the few meme tokens that feels like it’s driven by real culture

• Might be delusional… but sometimes delusion pays

How I’m playing it:

Looking for dips. Again, this is a bit big for me, but it’s probably the fastest mover of the three mentioned today.

Wrapping up

Not all comebacks are created equal.

Some memes are just waiting for the right rotation. Others might be cooked. But these three? 

They still have paths back to relevance and maybe even new ATHs.

In this market, attention is capital.

And these tokens still have people watching.
